Here’s a recap of Paul Jacob’s Keynote at CES.
-
Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs is delivery a keynote speech at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
I helped launch the new Qualcomm.com last week. It’s an Adaptive Design website, so if you resize your browser you’ll see the content shift around for optimized viewing regardless of your screen size. This technique is used to deliver the best experience to users from all types of devices - desktops, laptops, tablets, and even mobile phones. No more “mobile only” websites missing half the content.
In addition, Qualcomm wanted a Digital Destination to aggregate all of the content they are producing leading up to and during the CES Trade Show in Las Vegas. This page also adaptive and includes a (flash only) live stream of Paul’s keynote, and several other pieces of HTML5 enabled video.
Work isn’t the only reason I came to San Diego… but it sure is cool.

Smoldering sunsets in Downtown San Diego. This is the view from the office where I work! Killer.

I just spent 30 minutes trying clothes on for a photoshoot at my job tomorrow.
For the past few days I have been preparing my hair, skin, and camera face.

Rainbow knee-high socks!! This was during team building at Digitaria. :) Their team name is “Purple Nurples.”
So sorry that I missed Digitaria field day. Guess a quick business trip to NYC makes up for it.
